Foodie; Kashmir Cafes

On the 23rd May, so glad to be invited to Kashmir Cafes for a banana leaf rice, my long-time-tak-makan- food. I shall specify that they are selling South Indian Banana Leaf.

Introductory
So how did the Kashmir Cafes come about?
It started off under a tree stall back in 1979.

Why stopped?
Just for renovation. And now they're re-opening in the Petaling Jaya area.

The Shot: The Kashmir Cafes.
The Shot: The Interior including the TV set etc.
Drinks.
We started off with drinks.
Mr. Sashi introduce to us, none other than the Lassi's; their No.1.

The Shot: Strawberry Lassi.
Taste: The strawberry fruit is blended in.
A little similar to yogurt but very well sweetened.

The Shot: Soursop Guava Lassi
Taste: It's the mixture of soursop and guava. Not sour, of course.
It's the favourite among all.

The Shot: Mango Lassi
Taste: As i mentioned earlier, this is very alike yogurt. So its very smooth.

imagine if its ice-cream instead.. >.< mouth-watering~

Foodie

The Main: Their Signature dishes.

The Shot: All the dishes are served on banana leafs.

"Maybe they'll have to open a orchard just to get the supply for banana leafs!"

The Shot: Mutton Briyani
Taste: The Mutton, i suppose its fried before, because there's a slight crispy bite on one side of it. The texture, the aroma... Its sooo delicious! *applause*

Oh my...Shera's gonna hate me for this. LOL

The Shot: Chicken Briyani
Taste: This is served with drumstick, most people love them don't they? They should love them even more. This suits those who can't or weren't use to eating mutton.

The Shot: Whole Set.
Comments: Of course, its not that small in amount. p/s we're sharing the rice. Banana leaf rice cannot leave behind what the most important side-dishes that comes along with it, the Kurma Curry, the Cucumber Achar and also PAPADAM!
What's Indian food without curry, right?

The Shot: Mutton Bone Curry
Taste: Since its the best selling there, i didn't tried a lot. Just a bite. I suppose when i say, its the last pot, Mr Sashi is serving us, its good enough to tell you, it ROCKS!

The Shot: Prawn Ball Curry
Taste: The aroma is very strong if you just eat them the way it is. I think having the with the rice will taste much balanced.

The Shot: Crab Resam
Taste: To be honest, i've never tried something like this before. It's definitely new. A small cup of this its not enough. You'll want more.
Only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

If its FaceBook, I will LIKE this. =D

The Shot: Chicken Masala Thosai
Taste: Marcky with no doubt ask us to try this out as well. The thosai is not sour, unlike most stall outside. Its perfectly fine. So great, Nigel is loving it. He even take-away. And as you can see, its so crispy even by the looks right? It is!

The Shot: Masala Tea
Taste: At first, it tasted very foreign. i decided maybe i should take another sip. The taste blend so well, I personally love it. Mr. Sashi says,
"If you have a Masala Chicken, have Masala Tea. If you don't have Masala Chicken, still have the Masala Tea"

Deserts
The Shot: Orange; Kayseri. Brown; Wajik
Taste: Its not that kind off sweet desert. Its worth a bite.

The Shot: Teh Tarik
Taste: Should i be writing this? LOL

Thank you's
The Shot: Cake
Mr. Sashi's sister made it for us. Appreciate that!

The Shot: Fudge Chocolate
Taste: Like chocolate cakes, but it's very fine and nicely done.

The Shot: Cheese Raspberry
Taste: So much like Secret Recipe's Raspberry cheese.
Oh no, I'm craving!
