The Little Red Dot.
So I had a short getaway to our neighboring country, which is also one of my targeted career growth location. :D Anyways, back to reality, went with my family and so we had free tour guides as well, my nephews.
YES.
my nephews.
We drove down to Johore first to meet my relatives there, first, is cuz we haven't meet them for like ages? Second, it's because we sorta need directions and learn where the customs are and all. We we're there on the Christmas Eve, which initially we planned to head there before the night falls so we can join the countdown which was rumored to be very hardcore and merrier with the awesome crowd. But yeah. we didn't head there that night anyway. Cuz the news reported that the flood was 'serious' at the Orchard Road. *coughs* Well, never mind.
But nonetheless, Uncle brought us and gosh, the food, is so nice. *melts* Plainly because of the chicken, first thing that struck me, is that I better come back to Johore and travel a little there. I'm sure there's good food and places I can explore. :3 Food excites me, so I was quite pumped up for my three days of getaway in Singapore.
Day 2
So daddy said I shall drive to Singapore. Weeee! So yeah, i enjoyed driving across the border. ;p When we got there it was already lunch time. so we had Bak Kut The the Sinaporean way. Their BKT is different from it is in Malaysia. In Malaysia, it's all dump into a clay pot and the soup itself is dark colored unlike in Singapore. Their BKT is our Pepper Pork Soup; (Zhu Du Tang).
Then cousins and nephews brought us walking, in line with the spirit of Singaporeans, according to them, the essence of walking through town. We went to the Singapore flyer. So we had a good view of the Little Red Dot. After the one hour of ferris wheel trip, we had long walk to Marina Bay Sands. Where the rest went to have a touch' n go in the Casino, my nephews and I went window shopping. The awkward thing in the Marina Bay Sands mall, is the Sampan Rides in the middle of the mall i considered with an edge. It kills the mood, in a way.
SO when the night falls, we went to Orchard Road, to see whats the hu-hah everybody story me about Christmas in Singapore. Perhaps I was expecting to much, cuz it didn't seem to meet my expectations. LOL Besides the truth that it is crowded. One interesting thing that I've seen, has to be the flash mob they have on the street. Cuz I have a nice feeling for flash mob, cuz I've done once in YEC and it's plain fun and insane. ;3
We took a short ride up to Fabor Hill, to have a nice view a Singapore as a whole at night. It's like our Look Out Point. The view of Kuala Lumpur at night.
Getting back, we settle down at our cousin's crib then chill abit and nephew is already preparing and waiting for us for a little fellowship session. LOL Monopoly and Bailey's. That's it. Me? I have fun buying railways stations and looking at Jaime and Kaelyn's drunk face. Jaime, drunk likeaboss, was conned all the way through for an exchange of land with 250 Dollars when as promised to be sold at 350 Dollars instead. Well well. :D

Day 3
We are supposed to be like up early, but *coughs coughs* We woke up late anyway. ;p Took the MRT and went to Bugis Street to check out what they have there. Honestly when it comes to items, it's a lot over there. Somewhat like our Petaling Street. But their food seems to be somewhere else. Anyways, Bugis Street was one of the place I like to shoot. Add into list of favorites :3 But i didn't manage to get anything for anyone considering the fact 1, i don't know what to buy, fact 2, i need to budget. When we were nicely gonna reach the Bugis Junction so we can meet up for dinner, we just realize they left without us. D:
We walked all the way, across i-have-no-idea-how-many-streets to dinner place. Walk pass the Arab street or something. Just A LOT of streets. 0.0 But for good food, it's all worth it! Nan Hwa Chong Fish Head Steamboat is one of the Top 4 must-eat in Singapore. Well, we got that checked! ;D Later that night, we tour around Sentosa. Next time we should come for a longer period of time and go to the Universal Studio. I was there, *ahemmm* outside. LOL Picture with the globe? #foreveralone
I'll be back for more at the Little Red Dot.
Cheers,
