2012 has began: Chapter ten
I guess I am too busy with my studies in Uni, that I forgot to blog for the month. Perhaps too, I was busy with the note I was writing over the month. I hope it was read.
That month I had MAPCU with Stingrays. Probably one of the most important tourney I had so far. I wasn't much in the game, but this is perhaps the most I could say. I'm glad that I perform and I tried whenever I could. Much to work on for communication and my game sense. Still kinda lost. But I'm happy I saved a point, and assist the assist. Lol. Well, whichever to make myself happy.
After that, I haven't attended the trainings. Was stuck with my assignment. Or maybe that was just plain excuses. Then I realize, many had left. I can't tell why. You weren't the reason why I began playing Ultimate, but you are the reason why I stayed and thats the most important thing to me. Sigh. I know it important for me to move on, but I can't when I come to think about it. So I chose to runaway. I still get little nudges when it flashes across my mind.
This month, I spent my time doing the things I didn't thought I'd do. First, I got to the Petrosains after years since primary school trip. I guess everything makes more sense when you get to know what is going on, rather than to visit and expect young kids to learn something because all they want is just to have fun. I pretty much touched everything there. I don't really recall how it looked like before this. Overall, it's okay. Not to say it's all interesting. But to walk all sections can be tedious.
Another thing is on community service. First time ever with RAC Pudu, we went to the Zoo Negara as volunteers. Being a volunteer wasn't always that sweet. I took advantage of it to walk around the zoo. Manage to see the animals I wanted to see. Just unfortunate we were too tired to get to the penguins. Being the volunteer is a great experience, but I guess once is enough for me. :)
We went to the Penang and AIMST Joint Installation all the way up north. Suppose from kampongkids, only me and Samantha. We manage to drag PuiKuan and Nic Lim to join us too. Well..I'd say, it is the most successful themed installation I've seen thus far. Everyone cared to dress up and everyone is all so passionate an sporting and it makes the night a great night to be in. Most importantly, I began to fall in love more with Aang the Avatar. LOL. We met one kid, that has this avatar arrow on his head, and with his braces, he won our votes for best dressed. Haha!
Oh well. I wasn't back at home much this month. But last two night, I was watching this Korean, reality-made-to-film movie called "Silenced". I have no idea should I suggest this for people to watch. It's rather devastating, and not made for the faint hearted. I was watching it with Jaime. I wasn't as emotional as her when the movie was played. However, I cannot deny how it impacted me after that. The feeling is so heavy-hearted. It makes you wonder, why.
Anyways, just want to jump this topic over. I haven't been touching my Danson much either. I had stuff in my mind but I kept it in a corner. I told myself better not multitask if I want to score whatever I am doing.
Cheers,
